Assistant/Associate Teaching Professor, Department of Sociology and Criminology

The Department of Sociology and Criminology at the Pennsylvania State University, University Park campus, invites applications for full-time Assistant or Associate Teaching Professors. Rank will be commensurate with experience and education.

The positions will involve teaching courses in Criminology and/or Sociology at the undergraduate level. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in Sociology, Criminology, Criminal Justice, or a closely related field, and prior teaching experience. Candidates with a J.D. will also be considered. Teaching Faculty normally teach three or four courses per semester, and summer teaching is sometimes available. The start date for this position is August 2023.

This is a non-tenure-track and limited-term appointment. Length of term is determined by rank and qualifications with a possibility of renewal.
