Position Summary
Reporting to the Senior Counsel, the Senior Advisor of the Feerick Center for Social Justice is responsible for the development of the center's advocacy training institute and leading the Center's work in connection with the New York State Attorney Emeritus Program.
Essential Functions
- Leads the development of the center's advocacy training institute, which will entail creating training programs and workshops.
- Serves as the center's key staff member supporting the center's work in connection with the New York State Attorney Emeritus Program (AEP).
- Provides guidance and advice to the center's senior team on an as-needed basis.

Required Qualifications: Education and Experience
- Juris Doctor degree with bar admission and current good standing.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in the development of social justice programs.

- Demonstrated commitment to public interest initiatives.
- Demonstrated collaborative ability.
- Demonstrated experience developing training programs for pro bono volunteers.
- Demonstrated experience and expertise in connection with access to justice.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage projects effectively.
- Excellent professional judgement, ability to assess risk in international legal frameworks, and commitment to principles of confidentiality.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Successful candidates should have a knowledge of and commitment to the goals of Jesuit Education
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in anti-poverty substantive areas, program design and implementation, pro bono training, and model pro bono management practices.
Minimum Starting Salary: $120,000
Maximum Starting Salary: $150,000
Note: Salary is commensurate with qualifications, experience, and skills.
